We loved the cozy Family Suite, but parking was a bit tricky.

While the creaking from the historical home adds to its charm, it can be a bit disruptive at night. Overall, it feels slightly dated in some areas, which may not suit everyone's taste. The other common areas felt a bit cramped, leaving little room for mingling or relaxation.

The Stone House is an enchanting getaway with beautiful antiques and an impressive collection of rare maps. Joe's thoughtful hospitality shines through, and his delicious homemade breakfasts served on antique china are unforgettable. The evenings filled with his piano music create a serene atmosphere that's hard to beat.

The master bedroom was super comfy, and Joe's private concert was a highlight. We explored The Elms and Stanton Hall, and even hiked around nearby. Joe is an amazing host, and the breakfasts are not to be missed!

The only downside was that it was slightly pricier than we expected, but considering the experience, it was worth it.
